Page 102-The Backstory
This is what originally envisioned and its backstory for Chaos Fighters: Chemical Warriors-The Secret Programs:

The usage of sentient digital beings is older than most people expected. In two wars where Karsc was stuck between two countries in two separate wars, the military developed them for war in defense of Karsc's cyberspace which became battlefields. After the wars ended sooner than expected, the research data was sent to the Health Ministry for creating replacements for dead people. Leon Sarzaf was the first to be created for that, but the research changed its direction when the Black Raider gang surfaced and forced the research project to develop crime fighting ones. Having aid from other planets, the Black Raider gang was eliminated, but this only uncover the first of eight secret programs held by the gang.

The eight programs are the digital being itself, an ability enhancer, two trans-spatial movement utilities, encryption and decryption, memory enhancer, organic body building and stabilizer which allows the previous seven programs to work together. They were developed by a small research team which mostly defected to the Black Raider gang, except Leon's father. To obtain the remaining seven programs, the research project decided to find their former base, but it was controlled by a new organization made from the remnants of the Black Raider gang, the White Raider gang, but it was again eliminated and the ability enhancer was obtained.

Then, odd things happened. The digital beings were able to appear in real world. The research group tried to extract the trans-spatial movement utilities, but this did not work. After that, crimes increased once more and the people who eliminated the Black and White Raider gangs teamed up to fight against them. Finally, they managed to obtain the first utility, but they were then dragged into the cyberspace. Reports of people missing increased suddenly, forcing them to fight once more to obtain the second utility and return everyone back to the real world.

5 years was spent for the first four programs. Then, new crimes happened where no criminals could be suspected. By that time, the eight programs were then known but not made public. New recruits were tasked to defeat the criminals who used the encryption to commit crimes as to hide their identities and decrypt themselves after everything was done. The research team managed to create the encryption and decryption program which was identical to the one recruits managed to obtain. However, the criminals then wreak havoc by causing mental disease by making victims remembering everything horrific to them all the time. This was stopped once more by the new recruits along with obtaining the memory enhancer.

Then, a mysterious human suddenly appeared and being able to traverse in both real world and cyberspace freely. Oddly, she could do everything that the digital beings do but humans can't except losing the memory enhancer. After falling in love with a member of the research project, it was revealed that she is a digital being who gained organic bodies identical to that of a human. Also, the program that gave her organic body can turn humans into digital beings too. Then, she was hunted by criminals who wanted to use her for crimes, but with the help of the new recruits, they were all eliminated.

It was another 5 years for the three programs. One day, an experiment which combined the first seven programs failed and the digital beings used for the experiment was disappeared. At that time, they could not develop the stabilizer. A few months later, they reappeared, but as criminals which have the stabilizer installed in them. The new and old recruits then united to defeat them and convince them to go back to the research project. The next year, they were all returned along with the stabilizer. Just when they thought everything ended, a new criminal revealed as the one behind everything happened in the past 11 year and installed all programs in him in an attempt to conquer Karsc by himself. Again, this is thwarted. Peace was then restored, but the damage from such struggle has made the goverment of Karsc to made almost everything illegal except the creation of digital sentient beings itself while disbanding the research team.

Note: Despite being cancelled, this work is still canonical. However, I might bring some of the ideas elsewhere. After all, just a year after that, the research data was given by Karsc through Ketruin to other planets who are interested in creating sentient digital beings. Also, the cyber wars was renamed cyber confrontations by the Karsc government and the 11 years struggle is named cyber war instead.
